The United Way Central and South Okanagan/Similkameen delivered car seats to the KGH Perinatal Unit this week as part of the Child Safety Initiative, a unique partnership with KGH Foundation and Central Okanagan Foundation.
This year, 54 car seats were distributed in the Central Okanagan with KGH receiving 15.
United Way partner agencies in Lake Country, Kelowna, Summerland, Penticton, Oliver, Keremeos and Princeton received a total of 84 car seats to distribute to families in need in their community. Budget Car and Truck Rental provided the cube van for the deliveries.
