In living color

Wow, this Spring/Summer season is so full of beautiful colors! Mix and match, color block, wear bright colors that are not typically paired together...anything goes, as long as it involves lots of color.

Stripes and wide color blocked dresses and tops are hot this season. They are loose, flowy, asymmetrical, and often longer in the back and shorter in the front. The clothes are ultra feminine, yet comfortable to wear.

Last year's floral prints were on trend, and this year the print that is popular contains quirky little animals, such as ducks, fish, cats, sheep, and any other quirky, fun small print.

Top 10 must haves for Spring 2012:

  1. Colored denim- skinny jeans in mint, aqua, peach , pink or even yellow.

  2. Color block tank top; loose, and asymmetrical.

  3. A casual little dress in a fun whimsical print.

  4. Colorful belt to team with your colored jeans or wear with your little dress.

  5. Comfy little flat shoes in a solid bright color. Wear them to contrast your color jeans.

  6. A straw hat; large and floppy or fedora style. Both are super trendy with any outfit.

  7. Long Aztec inspired necklace with a chunky pendant.

  8. Stud earrings in the shape of a colorful flower.

  9. A set of bangles; a grouping that includes some metals, colors and different textures.

  10. Nail polish in a bright shade of Spring.
