Party season is here!
Dec 5, 2011 / 5:00 am
First, I wish to thank the women of Kelowna for participating in our Annual Frakas Shopping Party that took place on November 25th. The evening was a huge success with a packed house of excited shoppers. We made our goal, and will be building the girls dorm walkway at Irbaan School in Africa. Yay!
Now Party Season is here!!
There is only one thing that comes to mind at Frakas in December - PARTY DRESSES!!!
Everybody is looking for that special holiday dress and this year is special because the dresses are not following one particular style or color. The assortment is wonderful. There is a dress for every woman’s personal style.
The dresses are cut a little longer, and not showing quite so much skin as last year. Get that sexy look from the long sleeve dresses that come in beautiful stretch lace, one-shoulder dresses, 50’s inspired dresses, sequin dresses, cutout dresses, backless dresses - the variety of stunning dresses is sure to please every age and body type.
Some of the new colors in dresses for winter 2011 are beautiful emerald green, rust, brick, gold, silver, and of course red or black. The dresses are feminine, and many with lace insets for throw back to more feminine fashion years.
Those who like to push the fashion envelope a little further are adorning their dress with a beautiful fascinator in the shape of a top hat with lace veil, or a large feather, rhinestone or sequin headband.
Huge cocktail rings are a great item to give that dress a real party feel.
Let’s celebrate this Christmas and New Year in celebrity style, and not be afraid to express yourself.
