I have just returned from a buying trip to Los Angeles where I always come away with so much inspiration.

The dresses are light, lacy, and frilly, in beautiful soft pastel shades. We are seeing longer skirts - some so long that they will touch the ground. We will be seeing a lot of lace used in unconventional ways, such as a zip up jacket made entirely with lace. We will see socks, leggings, hair accessories and even jewelry with lace details. Ultra feminine! Flowy tops and very lightweight sweaters with ruffles, flowers, and crochet details. Lots of layering and asymmetrical hem lines. Pearls, cameos and layered jewelry.

I know it seems like a harsh contrast, but we will also be seeing a heavy cargo influence this Spring.

Imagine a cute little lace jacket teamed with a pair of cargo pants. Add a pair of chunky military boots to complete the look.
