Helen Mirren sympathizes with Duchess Catherine

Dame Helen Mirren thinks Duchess Catherine must be "so uncomfortable" with everyone knowing she is in labor.

The 67-year-old actress sympathizes with the duchess - who was taken to the Lindo Wing at St. Mary's Hospital in Paddington, London, this morning (07.22.13) after experiencing the early stages of childbirth - and insists it must be strange for her to know the whole world is awaiting news of her and Prince Williams' first child.

Speaking at the 'RED 2' press conference, which took place earlier today onboard the Symphony riverboat on the River Thames, Helen told BANG Showbiz: "It's weird, isn't it that everyone knows you're in labor. That must be so uncomfortable."

Helen - who was joined by her co-stars Bruce Willis and Mary Louise Parker on the vessel - thinks is would be "very interesting" if William and Catherine named their little one Diana after the prince's late mother Princess Diana.

Speaking about the possibility of the royal baby, who will be third in line to the throne, being called Diana - who passed away in August 1997 - she added: "I wonder if they'll go there? That would be interesting. That would be very interesting."

What's more, the acting legend - who won an Oscar for her portrayal of Britain's Queen Elizabeth in 2006 biopic 'The Queen' - would prefer it if the couple had a daughter, and admits it would be great if they chose an "ancient" moniker for their little one.

She added: "It would be nice to have one of those ancient, Anglo-Saxon names.

"If the baby is a girl we know her second name will be Elizabeth without a doubt.

"I was going to go with a boy. But another queen, that's good. I think that's great! We need more queens now."
