Just friends after all?

Taylor Swift and Tim Tebow did indeed dine together on Monday night, a rep for a restaurant in Century City, Calif., confirms to PEOPLE. But another onlooker says they didn't seem to be too cuddly.

"I would say they came in more as friends," the source says. "Taylor came in with another young male and seemed to be with him more than Tebow. However, it was very hard to determine because they all seemed to be good friends."

There were five people total in the group. The country singer, 22, wore jeans, a jacket and flats. She drank only a latte, while the others, including the Denver Broncos quarterback, 24, ate chicken pillared and fettuccine bolognese.

One of the men – not Tebow – picked up the bill, according to the source.
