Our Garage Band competition (read all about it here) is still in full swing, and we are overwhelmed with the caliber of talent from your submissions. The quality of music has been unbelievable, and we’re facing a huge challenge in trying to choose the Top 10 bands for you to vote on.

Until then, here is a sneak preview of a few songs that have been submitted to us so far.

We hope they demonstrate the diverse musical artistry that the Okanagan has to offer.

First up is Scissorkick, with their ultra-catchy song Everybody.

Next is Joshua Smith, and his smooth laid back sound with Don’t Hope Think No.

Here’s Tin Can Jam with their gender-bending rockin’ cover of Joe Walsh’s Life’s Been Good.

Like the Red Hot Chili Peppers? You’ll enjoy the funky grooves of Pull In Case of Fire’s Love Always Has an Audience.

And this one’s from Gorgeous Priceless, a cool harmony-laden track called Morning Bird.
