It's a Christmas concert unlike any other.
The Christmas musical "A Christmas Spectrum" was born out of a commitment to increase autism awareness.
"My co-writer Lana Caputi has a nephew with autism who is 19 years old. In the autistic community, you have provincial-federal founding up until you are 18 and then funding drops off, known as the cliff," says Dan Thiessen. "I wrote a song called The Cliff, and then we decided to put on a production to create awareness."
The concert premieres Sunday at Kelowna Community Theatre.
The performance will consist of a medley of Christmas songs featuring top Kelowna voices, along with two choirs of adults and children, a full orchestra, an international dance ensemble including ballet, tap, jazz, flamenco, ballroom and freestyle expression.

Funds will go towards Autism B.C.
