Snoop Dogg biopic movie?

Snoop Dogg won't be jumping on any "bandwagon" by turning his life story into movie.

Following the release of hugely successful N.W.A. movie Straight Outta Compton which debuted in 2015, and its best original screenplay Oscar nomination, talk quickly turned to a follow up film based on the lives of Snoop and late rapper Tupac Shakur.

Snoop appeared in Straight Outta Compton, played by Keith Stanfield, but admits he's not currently on board with any new features.

"I'm pretty sure there will be. But right now I'm not into it. To me, that's bandwagon. You shouldn't do a movie about your life just because you saw the success of Straight Outta Compton," he reasoned in an interview with magazine Rolling Stone.

Snoop - real name Cordozar Calvin Broadus, Jr. - is still close to N.W.A. member and super producer Dr. Dre, calling him "my big bro", and they've worked together on numerous songs over the years. Fans would love to see the two join forces on tour, and the 44-year-old teased he and Dre have a few things "cooking up".

"I think that makes sense (a tour) more than anything. A Snoop-Dre album would be amazing, but a tour even more, because we have legendary music the world has yet to see us perform globally," he explained to Rolling Stone. "I'm pretty sure he wants to do it. He just wants the team in place. Kendrick Lamar, Eminem, Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre " that's the dream team for him."

The pair may no longer be interested in women and partying, but Snoop insists he hasn't lost any of the gangsta-rap reputation he became famous for, despite leaving that lifestyle behind.

"Nah, because I ain't 19 no more. I don't g**gbang. You're dealing with a grandfather, the uncle to the hip-hop game. He's made a full 360 from where he was to who he is " and that's what we love about him. He's a great example of what you can be," he boasted.
