What's Baywatch without Pamela Anderson and David Hasselhoff?

B.C.-born Anderson will reprise her role as CJ Parker in a big-screen remake of the 1990s jiggle-TV series.

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson confirmed Anderson's involvement in a movie reboot of the franchise via an Instagram post.

"She introduced the world to CJ Parker and became one of the most iconic characters of a generation – for the most successful TV show of all time," wrote Johnson.

"A pleasure to welcome (as gorgeous as ever) Pamela Anderson to our #BAYWATCH cast. We couldn't have made this movie without you. Welcome home. Thrilled you had a blast with us!"

Anderson won't be playing the role of CJ, however. That part will be played by model Kelly Rohrbach.

Hasselhoff, Zac Efron, Priyanka Chopra, supermodel Charlotte McKinney and Alexandra Daddario will also appear in the film.

The film is set to open in May 2017.
