Megadeth coming to SOEC

Megadeth is coming to Penticton.

The iconic heavy metal band has announced details for the North American leg of its Dystopia World Tour, which will kick off in Dallas Feb. 20 and make a stop in Penticton at the South Okanagan Events Centre on March 5.

Megadeth will be on tour in support of the new album Dystopia, being released on Jan. 22. Along with band visionary Dave Mustaine at the helm, Megadeth’s current touring lineup includes Kiko Loureiro (formerly of Angra) on guitar, David “Junior” Ellefson on bass, and drummer Chris Adler (Lamb of God), all of who are featured on the new album. 

Joining Megadeth on the tour are guests Suicidal Tendencies, Children of Bodom and Havok.

Tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. and will be available from the Valley First box office, Wine Country Visitor Centre or online at www.valleyfirsttix.com.
