Lake Country Talent

2015 is the fourth year Lake Country Open Mic Has Talent has organized events to spotlight original singers and songwriters from the Okanagan.  Remaining dates for the 2015 contest are March 11 and April 8 (6-9pm) at the Lake Country Coffee House.  This contest is generously sponsored by the Lake Country Coffee House and the Fresh Outlook Foundation.

The competition begins with a talented array of performers on March 11th.  Dale Ziech, Chantelle Betuzzi, Anna Ferguson, Michael Painchaud, Mark Rosal, Nathan Fadden, and a trio including Catherine Brandon, Glen and Lourine Welding, will be entertaining the audience of the Lake Country Coffee House.  All performers will showcase their original songwriting skills along with their passionate performance skills for our judges, the winner of the 2014 competition, Aaron Gordon, and Andrew Smith, a Kerrville New Folk Winner for his songwriting and a world class tap style instrumentalist.

Three spots are available for the April 8th competition!  Registration forms for the 2015 contest are available at the Lake Country Coffee House at 10345 Bottom Wood Lake Road in Lake Country, or can be downloaded from the website at www.lakecountryopenmic.ca.
