I am Woman Hear Me Laff

The Vernon and District Performing Arts Centre proudly presents I am Woman Hear Me Laff 11 on Sunday, March 8th at 8:00pm at the Vernon and District Performing Arts Centre.
 
Leo award winning comedian Erica Sigurdson headlines the 11th annual celebration of International Women’s day. Over the course of her 10 year career in comedy, Sigurdson has been twice nominated for Best Female Standup in Canada, and was a semi-finalist in the Seattle International Comedy Competition.
 
Nationally recognized as one of Canada’s top comedic talents, Sigurdson is a frequent guest on CBC Radio’s smash hit The Debaters, appearing a record 29 times. She is also featured on CBC Radio’s The Current and Definitely Not the Opera. In 2013 alone, Sigurdson was invited to perform at The Vancouver Comedy Festival, The Winnipeg Comedy Festival, The Halifax Comedy Festival and the world famous Just For Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal.
 
In this stand-up comedy extravaganza, Master of Cemeronies Katie-Ellen Humphries returns to the stage with her sharp wit, inventive imagination and cavernous dimples. Vancouver-based comedians Alicia Tobin and Brynn Peebles will also be on hand for this ‘herlarious’ occasion in honour of International Women’s Day.
