Mike 'The Situation' Sorrentino is being sued by his lawyer.
The former 'Jersey Shore' star and his brother Marc Sorrentino allegedly owe Richard Wolfe $29,000 in unpaid legal fees from 2009 to 2013 and the attorney has filed a legal complaint to obtain the money back.
According to the lawsuit, which has been obtained by website TMZ, the brothers managed to pay off $10,000 of their bill but have made failed attempts to pay the remainder, including with a $2,000 check which bounced and another for the same amount which was cancelled.
The lawyer is seeking the $29,000, plus damages for the bad checks.
The legal row comes weeks after police were called over unpaid wages to the reality star's tanning shop employees.
Four staff members from Boca Tanning Club in Middletown, New Jersey alleged their paychecks had bounced and each employee was owed between $100 and $200.
However, after officers spoke to The Situation's brother Frank and warned criminal charges could be filed, the disgruntled employees received all the money they were owed.
Insiders insisted at the time there had been an "innocent mix-up" because the store changed payroll companies.
