Zac Efron is reportedly ready to date again.

The 'Neighbors' star - who has been romantically linked to Vanessa Hudgens and Lily Collins in the past - is keen to find himself a new girlfriend.

A source told RadarOnline.com: "Zac wants to date someone who's not intimidated by fame and who can challenge him intellectually."

The 26-year-old star reportedly has his eye on Eva Mendes, 40, who has been dating Ryan Gosling since 2011, and isn't bothered about their age difference.

The source explained: "Zac has compiled a 'wish list' of eligible women - and Eva Mendes heads the list.

"He's always loved her look and thought Ryan Gosling was insane not to put a ring on her finger. If she was even remotely interested he'd jump at the chance."

However, Eva isn't the only one Zac has a soft spot for as it is believed he also has a crush on Rihanna, but has ruled out dating her because of her love for partying.

The source added: "Zac also has always had a huge crush on Rihanna, apparently, but her partying habit rules her out for anything long-term."

The hunky star appears to be getting his life back on track after checking into treatment facilities twice last year to seek help for rumored substance abuse and alcoholism.
