Eva Longoria: Children are 'not in my future'

Eva Longoria has ruled out having children.

The 39-year-old actress has been dating José Bastón, 46, the president of Latin America's Televisa media company, since the end of last year, but she admits she has no plans to settle down and start a family with him any time soon.

When asked if she is planning to have children, she told PEOPLE: "It's just not in my future."

However, just three months ago, the former 'Desperate Housewives' star expressed her desire to have a family of her own, but insisted at the time that she would only have a baby if it were with the right man.

She said in March: "I've always wanted a family. I believe in family. But children are a product of love.

"So I don't think I'll go off and have a baby by myself. I do not have that need to procreate."

Meanwhile, the brunette beauty is set to turn 40 next March and makes sure she stays in shape with a combination of yoga and cardiovascular exercise.

She explained: "I run a lot. I'm a big runner. And I do yoga, so, I just alternate. Run, yoga, run, yoga. I do weight training as well."

Despite her determination to live a healthy lifestyle with a balanced diet and plenty of fluids, Eva admits she doesn't drink water out of plastic bottles.

She said: "So many end up in the ocean so I've banned them from the house."
