Kanye West has escaped to Paris Fashion Week after being accused of assaulting a teenager.
The 'Bound 2' hitmaker, who is being investigated by police after allegedly pummeling an 18-year-old man with over 30 blows after he hurled homophobic and racial slurs at the rapper's fiancee Kim Kardashian in Beverly Hills on Monday (01.13.14), was spotted arriving at Charles De Gaulle international airport in the French capital alone this morning (01.16.14).
A source told gossip website RadarOnline.com: "He's in town for fashion week, for the men's shows."
The rapper is expected to attend his friend Riccardo Tisci's Givenchy show at lunchtime on Friday (01.17.14).
Prosecutors are currently investigating the 36-year-old star, who pled no contest to attacking a photographer in 2008 and still has another battery case pending, for felony assault and battery connected to the incident on Monday.
Kanye reportedly went "nuts" and began beating the teen when the youth called Kim a "n****r lover" and a "stupid sl*t."
A law enforcement source said: "No, this young man shouldn't have said those disgusting things, but this is America ... The fact that Kanye went on his own will into a place of business and got in someone's face and allegedly hit him could result in him being charged with felony assault and/or battery. It will all depend on the severity of the injuries, and Kanye's version of events, if he chooses to cooperate."
