Brooke Mueller believes family services 'out to get her'

Brooke Mueller believes the Los Angeles Department Of Children and Family Services (LADCFS) are "out to get her".

The troubled former actress is battling to gain custody of her four-year-old twins with ex-husband Charlie Sheen, Bob and Max, and believes the agency has a vendetta against her, after "mystery evidence" was presented at court earlier this week.

The evidence reportedly revealed inconsistencies in what Brooke had told LADCFS about her recent drug treatment program, according to RadarOnline.com.

A source told the website: "Brooke is beyond furious with LADCFS and thinks they are working against her to get custody back of the boys.

"According to Brooke, all of her drug tests have been clean and she has done everything asked of her.

"The carpet has been pulled out from underneath her feet and she just wants her boys back.

"She truly believes the authorities are out to get her and to make an example out of her. The harsh treatment she is getting is because Brooke believes she is a celebrity and was married to Charlie Sheen, who as everyone knows, has been extremely critical of LADCFS."

The 36-year-old ex-model - who has been to rehab 20 times - lost custody of the twins in May when she was put under involuntary psychiatric hold, stemming from a drug overdose.

The twins were being looked after by another of Charlie's ex-wives, Denise Richards, until they displayed violent behavior to her own children, and were placed in the care of Brooke's brother, Scott Mueller.

Charlie is allowed to see the boys for two monitored visits per week, each lasting two hours.

The LADCFS have been considering placing the boys in foster care, away from both parents, at which point Denise stepped in and said she would take them again rather than let that happen.

The custody case is still under review.

A source close to the investigation said: "There is no vendetta against anyone in this case, period. The motivating factor has, was and always be the safety and well-being of Bob and Max."
