CRIME: THEFT UNDER $5000

Video surveillance at a liquor store located in Guisachan Village on the 2300 block of Gordon Drive caught this male in his mid 20’s who “forgot” to pay for his purchase. The man entered the store on September 14th, grabbed a 24 pack of Pilsner beer and a bottle of wine before fleeing in a blue vehicle. Contact RCMP or Crime Stoppers if you can supply his identity.

CRIME: VEHICLE ARSONS/EXPLOSIONS

Kelowna RCMP continue to seek information on two suspicious auto explosions occurring this year. A 2007 Ford Expedition was parked in a lot behind the Liquid Zoo Show Lounge on the 200 block of Lawrence Avenue between 9 and 10 PM on January 10th. The explosion, destroying the vehicle, was reported just after 1:00 AM. On August 29th on-duty officers were northbound on the 1300 block Rutland Road when they noticed a Chevy Silverado fully engulfed in flames. Occupants in the home had heard a loud bang before they noticed the flames. Investigators discovered that an explosive device had been planted inside the locked cab of the truck.
