CRIME: ATTEMPTED THEFT

RCMP are looking to catch the thief who has been travelling up and down the valley breaking into coin-pay service boxes. The latest theft reported is a water vending machine located in the wall at the Oyama General Store. This attempt occurred between 6:00 PM March 25 and 1:30 AM March 26. The thieves were unable to get to the coin box on this machine and left empty-handed, however the crowbar used resulted in a significant amount of damage to the buttons and coin return area.
