Kelowna RCMP were inundated with calls on the morning of February 18 relating to acts of vandalism that had occurred overnight. At least ten incidents occurred in the downtown area between Lawrence Avenue and Clement Avenue in the wee hours. The taggers used profanity and did not seem to care what they ruined. They used yellow paint, orange paint and markers to spray and draw on windows, fences, electrical boxes and many vehicles.

At 10:30 on February 11 the night manager of Carl’s Jr. Restaurant on Bertram Street reported to Kelowna RCMP that someone had spilled approximately 30 litres of cooking oil onto the drive-thru lane of the restaurant. The surveillance camera shows the suspects to be two young Caucasian males. One of the men was wearing a green and grey hoodie with grey pants, black and blue shoes and a beige baseball cap. The second man wore a black and grey hoodie with a red shirt, black pants and had shoulder length hair. They dumped the container over and threw bread racks and a Christmas tree into the oil before taking off
