CRIME: SHOPLIFTER
DATE: January 5, 2013
RCMP FILE: 2013-771
RCMP were called to the Real Canadian Superstore on Saturday, January 5 just before 2:00 PM when the loss prevention officer caught the female shown in the photo shoplifting. The female exited the store without paying for a bag full of items. Once confronted, she refused to go with the officer, left the stolen items and fled to a car and got away. The suspect is described as being a blonde female approximately 30 years of age, wearing blue jeans, a white jacket with a fur-trimmed hood, and carrying a black and white purse.

CRIME: BREAK AND ENTER

Kelowna RCMP are looking for a male who broke into a home on the 2700 block of Springfield Road in broad daylight on January 8, 2013. The intrusion alarm at the home was activated around 3:00 PM and a neighbor was notified to check the home. The neighbor observed a man carrying a full large yellow garbage bag exiting the back door of the home. Police were notified; and Police Dog Services were used to track the suspect but were unsuccessful. The man is described as a white male, 5’5” tall, with a slim build and dark eyes. He was wearing all black clothing with a hood pulled tight around his face. He had entered the home by prying the rear sliding glass door open. All rooms in the home were rifled through, with even fridge contents strewn on the floor. Items stolen include two laptops, an Ipod, DVD player and Wii console.
