CRIME: THEFT OF KAYAKS

DATE: October 10, 2012

RCMP FILE: 2012-57148

An owner of a property on the 14,600 block of Carrs Landing Road in Lake Country attended the Lake Country Detachment to report the theft of two kayaks. The kayaks had been stored in the shed on the property and were stolen sometime between Monday, October 8 and 2:00 PM October 10. One kayak is an 18’ red Necky “Chatham” model and the other is a 15’ yellow Necky “Eliza” model. Four oars were also taken.

CRIME: THEFT OF BICYCLE

DATE: October 3, 2012

RCMP FILE: 2012-55879

Police in Lake Country were called regarding the theft of a bicycle from the 10,400 block of Copper Hill Place. The 12” Verde Cadet BMX bike was taken from the inside of an open overhead garage door sometime between 7:00 PM and 9:00 PM on October 3, 2012. The bike has a matte purple finish and has pink rims. The serial number is CH050520252C11GH12114.
