CRIME: THEFT OF TRAILER

DATE: September 3, 2012

RCMP FILE: 2012-48999

The West Kelowna RCMP were dispatched to Home Depot on Carrington Road on the morning of September 3, 2012. Overnight a silver 2010 Marathon 10 foot enclosed trailer was stolen from outside the store. It had been locked, but the suspects cut the chain and left with the trailer. The trailer had a rear and side door and had VIN # 5Z7CL1015AN017770.

CRIME: THEFT

DATE: September 10, 2012

RCMP FILE: 2012-50765

A woman had her wallet lifted from her on September 10, 2012 at the bus exchange located at 2475 Dobbin Road in West Kelowna. She had been waiting for the bus when an unknown female approached her to borrow bus fare. She advised the girl that she only had a bus pass, and turned to put her bus pass in her wallet. A short time later the girl came back with a male who distracted the victim while the female took her wallet. A third male appeared to be the lookout for the three, and they all ran away on foot toward Gellatly Road. The female suspect was 14 to 16 years old, with longer brown hair wearing a yellow hoodie and skinny dark blue jeans. The male accomplice was Caucasian, 14-16 years old, wearing a red hoody, short black hair and blue jeans. The lookout male was Caucasian wearing a black hoodie and black jeans. The wallet was a silver Guess wallet.
