CRIME: SHOPLIFTING

DATE: May 28, 2012

RCMP FILE: 2012-26149

Police are looking for help from the public to identify these two men who walked into a department store on the 1800 block of Cooper Road and left 4 minutes later with a box of pots and pans on their shoulders. The two men, described as being bald Caucasians in their 20’s or 30’s, wearing dark T-shirts and jean shorts, entered the store at 4:51 PM on May 28, 2012. Four minutes later they exited with the goods. Staff, unable to stop them, watched them leave in a beige Mazda Protege.

CRIME: THEFT OF BICYCLES

DATE: July 12, 2012

RCMP FILE: 2012-36121

Seven bicycles were stolen from a trailer parked in a lane by a bike shop on the 500 block of Groves Avenue on July 12, 2012. The bikes were last seen at 5:00 PM on July 11. Sometime overnight thieves drilled out the hardware on the utility trailer (Quebec Plate no. RC4514C) and got away with the “Specialized” brand bicycles valued at approximately $24,000.00.
