CRIME: THEFT FROM EXCAVATOR

DATE: June 14, 2012

RCMP FILE: 2012-29810

A theft at the new Highway 97 site between Irvine and Gatzke Road in Lake Country was reported on June 15, 2012. Nearby video surveillance shows a mid-size grey or beige pickup truck with a tidy tank in the box arrive at the area at 11:15 June 14 and leave about an hour later. The thieves stole pieces of a yellow CAT (model 328D) including the entire left entry door, the left rear door, in-cab console computer in-cab two way radio, inner and outer air filters, battery box cover, air conditioning screen door, right rear door, 2 fire extinguishers and the turbo boot off the top. The value of loss and damage is approximately $20,000.00.

CRIME: STOLEN VEHICLE

Another F350 can be added to the long list of Ford trucks stolen in recent months. The owner of a black 2007 F350 reported his vehicle missing on June 16, 2012 from the 10,000 block of Okanagan Centre Road West in Lake Country. The truck has BC licence plate number DC3555.
