CRIME: BREAK AND ENTER

DATE: February 3, 2012

RCMP FILE: 2012-5209

A motion alarm was activated at a pizza store on the 3600 block of Highway 97 N near Reid’s Corner at approximately 3:30 AM on February 3, 2012. Video surveillance shows a suspect removing a window, entering the building without setting off the motion detector, taking a candy dispenser, leaving and coming back for a second candy dispenser. The alarm was then triggered, lights go on and the man immediately leaves. The suspect is a Caucasian male wearing all black, a black baseball cap and white gloves.

CRIME: ROBBERY WITH VIOLENCE

DATE: February 8, 2012

RCMP FILE: 2012-6089

Kelowna RCMP were alerted to a robbery at a pawn shop on the 100 block of Asher Road approximately 3:45 PM on February 8, 2012. A Caucasian man in his 20’s entered the store wearing a black jacket, blue jeans and a grey or white shirt. The store’s employee was robbed and beaten by the suspect who then fled the scene by bicycle. The victim was transported to Kelowna General Hospital for treatment.
