CRIME: RESIDENTIAL BREAK AND ENTER

DATE: January 1, 2012

RCMP FILE: 2012-135

 

The owner of a home on the 5000 block of Buchanan Road in Peachland called West Kelowna RCMP to report a break and enter that had occurred at the residence in the past week. The main residence was empty at the time and the thieves entered by prying off the frame of a door. They got away with many unique pieces of pottery from the owner’s art studio in the garage. Value of items stolen is about $2400.00

CRIME: THEFT OF ATV

DATE: December 29, 2011

RCMP FILE: 2011-64234

 

Thieves made away with an ATV from the back yard of a home on the 2000 block of Boucherie Road on December 29, 2011. It seems the suspects snuck into the yard during the night and pushed or drove the ATV through a fence at the rear of the property and down a large field to Concord Road (runs parallel to Hwy 97 S) and was then loaded into a truck or trailer. The ATV is a 2009 Yamaha Grizzly (VIN # JY4AM13W99C008218), with blue gator skin paint and equipped with tracks, a 60 inch snow blade and a rear luggage-cargo rack.
