CRIME: ARSON TO VEHICLE

DATE: September 3, 2011

RCMP FILE: 2011-44209

At approximately 11:00 PM on September 3, 2011, a fire at the end of Granite Road (near Finch Road) was called in to the Lake Country Fire Department. Fire crews and RCMP arrived to find a white 1994 Cadillac Seville fully engulfed in flames. Witnesses observed a newer dark blue pick-up truck with a male and blonde female leaving the area in a hurry. The fire appears to be arson as an accelerant was used.

CRIME: THEFT OF VEHICLE

DATE: September 3, 2011

RCMP FILE: 2011-44053

Thieves smashed the rear and driver side windows of a blue 2007 Harley Davidson Edition Ford F350 truck sometime between midnight and 6 AM on September 3, 2011. The truck was in a driveway on the 3000 block of Beaver Lake Road in Lake Country. Also stolen were about $1500 worth of tools and some banking documents. The truck’s VIN # is 1FTWW31P27EA54399 and was bearing BC license plate number DE8453.
