Anyone camping in the Okanagan should be reminded to secure belongings before retiring for the evening. Lake Country RCMP have had several complaints of missing items from different campsites in the area. The most popular item to be taken seems to be coolers, most often full of alcohol. A couple of zero gravity chairs, food and some medicine are also missing.

CRIME: Theft of Dirt Bike

Lake Country RCMP are investigating the theft of a dirt bike from the back of a pickup truck that was parked at the boat launch at Oyama Lake. The bike is a 2006 KTM SFX dirt bike, serial # VBKMXJ4366M000284, orange in colour and missing the gear shifter.
