CRIME: HOTEL BREAK AND ENTER
DATE: May 28, 2011

An unlocked patio door allowed thieves to enter a hotel room at the Grand Hotel located on Water Street. One of the victims forgot the door was open when he returned from walking his dog around 11 PM on May 27. When the guests woke up the next morning, the room had been robbed of their wallets, a Mac laptop (s/n C02DG0HRDC79), a Panasonic camera and a man’s Louis Vuitton wedding ring. The ring is white gold, has Louis Vuitton written on it and is worth approximately $2500.00. The wallets were later turned into the RCMP detachment.

CRIME: BREAK, ENTER AND THEFT OF TV’S

A man was walking near “The Source by Circuit City” store at the Mission Park Mall at around 4:45 AM on June 15th when he heard an alarm sound. He noticed two males wearing black carrying TV boxes out of the front of the store and load them into a smaller dark jacked-up 4X4 pick-up truck. The suspects had ripped the front door open by using the truck and a chain. Nine TV’s were stolen in total, ranging in size from 32 to 46 inches, mainly Samsungs. The suspects fled toward Richter Street.
