CRIME: COMMERCIAL BREAK AND ENTER

DATE: May 17, 2011

RCMP FILE: 2011-21017

West Kelowna RCMP were dispatched to a tire business located on the 1200 block of Industrial Road on May 17, 2011. Suspects had climbed the fence overnight into the fenced compound and made off with approximately $5000 worth of tires. Police are looking for four 18” Colby wheels, four 18” Falcon ZE912 tires, four 20” XD108 series wheels and four Nitto Terra Grappler tires.

CRIME: ARSON

DATE: May 19, 2011

RCMP FILE: 2011-21314

West Kelowna RCMP are looking for information on a suspicious fire that occurred at a nursery on the 1600 block of Bylands Road in West Kelowna just after 1:00 AM on May 19, 2011. Security patrolling the area noticed a stack of wooden pallets on fire at the rear of the property. The flames rose 10-15 feet before fire crews were able to extinguish the blaze. Police believe an accelerant was used to start the fire.
