CRIME: THEFT OF TRAILER AND TOOLS

DATE: March 16, 2011

RCMP FILE: 2011-10585

Between 4:30 PM on March 15 and 7:30 AM March 16 thieves entered a construction site on the 13,000 block of Carr’s Landing Road in Lake Country. The culprits cut a trailer hitch lock on silver and black 2008 Blazer tool trailer (BC license plate number UNB42T) and made off with the trailer full of tools. Missing are 3 framing nailers (Paslode, Hitachi and Dewalt), a Milwaukee drill kit, a Makita circular saw, a Bosch router, a Hitachi hammer drill, a small Campbell Hausfeld compressor and a Lyko surveyor’s transit.

CRIME: STOLEN QUAD

DATE: March 22, 2011

RCMP FILE: 2011-11520

A quad ride with friends did not pan out so well for a man in Lake Country on March 22, 2011. He had his quad strapped onto his truck near the first cattle guard on Oyama Road when he left for 15 minutes. When he returned the quad had disappeared. It appears that the vehicle had been taken off and loaded onto another truck. Unfortunately the quad had the keys in it and a full tank of fuel. Stolen is a red 2009 Can AM (VIN # 3JBEKHN119J000619)
