CRIME: BREAK AND ENTER - RESIDENTIAL

DATE: March 4, 2011

RCMP FILE: 2011-8742

Kelowna RCMP were called to a break and enter that occurred between 11:00 PM March 3 and 1:00 AM March 4 on the 5000 block of Cobble Crescent. The complainant had returned home to find the front door open and the house rummaged through. The thieves entered through a basement window and once inside the suspects located and opened a gun safe. They stole an assortment of guns and hunting accessories including a Remington 700 bolt action rifle (s/n S6719946), a Tikka T3 bolt action rifle (s/n 288183), two Leupold VX3 rifle scopes, a Vortex spotting scope, a pair of Swarvoski binoculars, a Leica Rangemaster 900 and 4 boxes of .257 ammunition.

CRIME: CREDIT CARD FRAUD

DATE: February 24, 2011

RCMP FILE: 2011-7614

 

Kelowna RCMP are looking for the female shown in the photo who attempted to use a stolen credit card to purchase a computer at London Drugs in Kelowna just after 11:00 AM on February 24, 2011. While the validity of the card and ID were being confirmed by the sales employee the suspect fled the store, leaving behind the stolen Visa and an Ontario driver’s license.
