RCMP FILE: 2011-7301/2011-7361
Several businesses in Kelowna fell prey to a thief posing as a neighbouring business employee on February 22, 2011. The man entered the businesses pretending to work next door and asked for change (rolls of toonies, $10 bills and $5 bills) for the business, stating that he would return with the replacement money once he cashed out. Not surprisingly, the suspect did not return.
