CRIME: THEFT OF BOAT
DATE: 2008-05-18
RCMP FILE: 2008-24538

A resident in the 900 block of El Paso Road had his vehicle with an attached trailer and boat stolen Sunday, May 18th from his driveway. The truck is a Ford 350, BC licence plate 9541 LC, and the boat is a Centurion EliteC4XL with a Mercruiser motor.  See photo.

CRIME: SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY

RCMP FILE: 2008-23652

Kelowna RCMP were called to a complaint early Tuesday morning, May 13th, in regards to an incident on Cobble Crescent. The resident of a home in the crescent stated that three unknown persons were in his backyard and tried to open the back door to the home. The suspects left before gaining access, one heading towards Kettle Valley and the other two down Lakeshore Road. One suspect is described as male, 5’10” tall, wearing all black. This incident may be connected to other occurrences in the same area where vehicles have been broken into and items stolen.
