CRIME: THEFT FROM VEHICLE

Lake Country RCMP have been busy responding to a rash of thefts from vehicles lately. Officers responded to a call at Reiswig Park on Tuesday, April 22nd where visitors to the park had their vehicle entered and a wallet stolen. The male suspect then entered an older model blue Camaro and fled. On Wednesday, April 23rd, a vehicle that was parked in the driveway of a home in the 4500 block of Young Road was entered. Once again, the culprit stole the wallet that was inside the vehicle. These instances serve as a reminder to the public to remove their valuables from their vehicle, and ensure that the vehicle is secured.

CRIME: THEFT OF VEHICLE

On Monday, April 14th, the Lake Country RCMP responded to a report of a stolen vehicle. A silver 1992 Chevrolet Suburban had been stolen from the parking lot of the Lake Country Husky gas station. A black 2003 Ford F-350 at the same location was also broken into and may have been used to jump start the suburban. Later in the day, the Suburban was recovered unoccupied, totally burned out on Postill Lake Road.
