CRIME: STRUCTURE FIRE

RCMP FILE: 2008-11047

Kelowna RCMP are continuing to investigate the suspicious fire that severely damaged Gerick Cycle and Sports, as well as other businesses, on the morning of March 10th. Members of the Kelowna RCMP General Investigation Section are releasing some surveillance video footage gathered from nearby Choice’s Market with the hope that it may generate some information to assist with the investigation. CRIME: ROBBERY

RCMP FILE: 2008-14024

On Thursday, at approximately 1:15 pm, members of the Kelowna RCMP responded to a robbery which occurred at the Dilworth Motor Lodge located in the 1700 block of Dilworth Drive.  An unknown Caucasian man entered the Hotel, indicated that he had a weapon, and demanded money.  The suspect made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect was last seen northbound on Dilworth Drive on foot.  Extensive patrols were made in the area by Police, however the suspect was not located.  Police Dog Services attended the scene and conducted a track which led to the Ramada Hotel parking lot where it was then lost.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian man, approximately 35 years old, 6"0 tall, with stubble on his face, wearing a black hoodie with white letters on it, sunglasses and blue jeans.
