CRIME: THEFT OF VEHICLE

RCMP FILE: 2008-11473

Lake Country RCMP responded to a call in the 15,000 block of Oyama Road on Wednesday, March 12th shortly after noon. A resident noticed that his vehicle had gone missing since 9:30 the evening before. Stolen is a white 1994 GMC pickup truck, BC licence plate 6025 JX. The owner of the truck describes the truck as having badly peeling paint on the hood and fenders, as well a 12,000 pound winch on the front. The bed is filled with heavy masonry blocks.

The skateboard park was a victim of vandalism on Sunday, March 9th. Two young males were seen at the park and are suspected of damaging some parts of the park, as well as stealing construction tools. One of the males is described as having long blonde hair and the other was riding a BMX.
