A resident in the 1400 block of West Kelowna Road arrived home on Friday, January 11th, early in the evening, to find that a basement door had been forced open and the residence entered. Numerous items were stolen from the home, including two plasma TVs, a laptop computer, and various items of jewellery.

CRIME: THEFT OF VEHICLE

Westbank RCMP responded to a complaint of a stolen vehicle early in the afternoon of Saturday, January 12th. The owner of a GMC pickup went into a business in the 1100 block of Stevens Road, later returning to find the truck missing. Stolen is a blue 1989 GMC truck, BC licence 5534 DH. Possible suspects include two young males, one with a blonde Mohawk hairstyle, the other male approximately 5’3” tall. Crime Stoppers would like to take this opportunity to remind vehicle drivers to ensure that their vehicles are locked while unattended.
