CRIME: ROBBERY

The Kelowna RCMP are investigating a robbery that occurred at the European Goldsmith’s jewellery store on June 13th at approximately 10:04 a.m. Two staff members suffered minor injuries as a result of being bear sprayed by one suspect while the second suspect used a small hammer-like tool to smash jewellery cases. The second suspect then grabbed several items of jewellery, most of which were diamond rings, before running out of the store. Both suspects were last observed running south from the mall across Springfield Road.
The suspects are described as:
#1 Male, wearing a white t-shirt, white track pants with a blue stripe, a camouflage bandana carrying a dark backpack.
#2 Female, wearing white painter-style overalls, a green and beige hoodie, white and brown ball cap, and a light coloured camouflaged bandana.
CRIME: ASSAULT

A man was driving southbound on Richter on the morning of Sunday, June 10th, when a black pickup truck attempted to pass him on the right hand side. The truck then tried to pull in front of him, forcing the driver to stop at Cadder. The pickup’s driver got out of his vehicle and came up to the victim’s open window.
The two exchanged words, the suspect eventually struck the victim in the nose with an unknown object. The suspect fled the scene, turning right on Rose and then left on Pandosy. The suspect’s vehicle is described as a larger, late model pickup, no canopy, black, jacked up, tinted rear windows, possible extended cab.
The suspect is described as 20-25 years old, olive skin, black short shiny wavy hair, narrow face, approximately 5’10”, wearing a long sleeve button shirt and black jeans.
