CRIME: THEFT OF CONSTRUCTION EQUIPMENT

The R.C.M.P. are looking into a report of damaged construction and office equipment. Vandals broke into a construction trailer in the rear of a property in the 3300 block of University Way and damaged multiple pieces of office equipment and heavy duty equipment nearby. The culprits also stole an HP-425 programmable calculator.

CRIME: ROBBERY

On April 12th, 2007 at approximately 00:51, Kelowna RCMP responded to a robbery call originating from a business in the 1500 block of Highway 33. An employee was threatened with a weapon which was not produced. The description of the suspect is as follows: Caucasian male, approximately 30 years of age, 5’11, slim build, wearing a brown sweater, dark hat and jeans. While on route to the above robbery, police received a call of a second robbery in a business in the 2900 block of Highway 97 North. A man matching the description from the first robbery demanded money and made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.
