CRIME: BREAK & ENTER
DATE: 2007-03-11
RCMP FILE: 2007-11381

The RCMP were dispatched to a call in the 800 block of Anders Road early in the morning of Sunday, March 11th. Culprits had cut a small hole through the roof of a business directly above the safe. The enterprising culprits concealed their entry by building a makeshift shelter using tubing and a tarp. The business is protected by motion detectors and the staff remove the contents of the safe nightly, so the would-be thieves were foiled in their attempt.

If you know anything about this crime, or any other crime, call the Central Okanagan Crime Stoppers’ anonymous tips line at 1-800-222-TIPS. Your information will be kept confidential and could lead to a reward of up to $2000.00.
