CRIME:            THEFT FROM VEHICLES

DATE:              August 23, 2019

RCMP FILE:    2019-52620

A resident of the 16,000 block of Maki Road in the Carrs Landing area of Lake Country caught this alleged thief on video at 4 a.m. on August 23, 2019.  The suspect, a male approximately 6’ tall, was wearing a two-tone grey and white hoodie with black track pants and black runners.  One of the vehicles was unlocked and he took some paperwork.  There were two other related files in the same area during that time period.

CRIME:            THEFT FROM CANNABIS STORE

DATE:              August 22, 2019

RCMP FILE:    2019-52373

Owners of Starbuds Cannabis located on Oceola Road in Lake Country reported a break and enter to RCMP on August 22nd, 2019.   Two well-concealed thieves smashed through the main glass entrance door during the early morning hours.  Once inside they tipped over a glass display case and stole the float money and some accessories.  The owners will be putting some stronger security measures in place in the near future.
