Unsolved Crimes Westside

CRIME: HIT AND RUN
DATE: 2007-01-18

At approximately 3:10 on the afternoon of Thursday, January 18th, a driver was traveling north on the inside lane of Highway 97, just past the Ross Road intersection when his vehicle was suddenly hit by another vehicle that was traveling along side.  The driver of the offending vehicle left the scene.  The vehicle is described as a black Jeep CJ, 1990's model, with chrome and oversized tires.  The suspect vehicle will have sustained some damage to its driver’s side.  The driver is described as a white male, approximately 18-24 years of age with short hair and a toque worn high on his head.

CRIME: BREAK & ENTER AND THEFT

RCMP FILE: 2007-3847


The RCMP were called out to the scene of a break and enter on the evening of Wednesday, January 24th in the 1100 block of Pettman Road. Culprits had gained access to a residence and ransacked various rooms in the home. Missing are 200 DVDs, Heirloom jewellery, a Canadian Bar Association pin, blue with the scales of justice and 'CBA' imprinted on it, a 24' Dell flat screen monitor, a 19" Samsun flat screen monitor, a CPU in an ASUS case, an Athalon 64X2 processor, 2 hard drives and 2 gb ram, a DVD burner, 2 small Altec-Lansing speakers, an ASDL modem, and a Toshiba Satellite Pro M1 laptop.
