CRIME: BUSINESS BREAK AND ENTER

A building under construction at 6808 Westside Road was the target of a break and enter the night of December 20, 2006. Thieves entered through a third storey window and made off with miscellaneous tools valued at approximately $10,000.

CRIME: RESIDENTIAL BREAK AND ENTERS

Two similar break and enters occurred late Christmas night or early morning of December 26. The front doors of a residence on the 3400 block of Old Okanagan Highway and a residence at 3381 Village Green Way were kicked in by burglars. Footprints in the snow indicate a male with approximately size 12 feet wearing heavy winter boots. There may have been a female accomplice. Items taken include jewellery, a camera and guitar.
