There was an attempted break and enter early Saturday morning, which may be related to other break and enters in the Lake Country area. Culprits managed to gain access to a residence in the five hundred block of Todd Road, but were likely scared away by dogs before being able to take any items from inside. While the occupants were unable to give a description of the culprits, the R.C.M.P. are reminding home owners to be vigilant and to use preventative measures to protect their homes.

The R.C.M.P. would like the public to be on the lookout for some tools that were stolen from a worksite in the 16000 block of Terrace View Rd. on Saturday, December the 2nd. Missing is a 24 foot Falcon scaffolding plank, two 24 foot ladders, two 4 foot Falcon step stools, two Falcon ladder jacks, a 36 foot Reynolds heavy duty ladder, a 20 foot lightweight extension ladder, a small 2 horsepower Paceload compressor, and an Aries pin nailer.
