CRIME: THEFT FROM VEHICLE

A theft from vehicle was reported to West Kelowna RCMP on August 16th when someone helped themselves to items left in a red Ford F150 parked overnight on the 1400 block of Rose Meadow Drive in the Rose Valley area. Video surveillance from a home on the street caught this male person of interest sneaking about the neighborhood in the darkness of the night. Items taken from the truck include electrician tools and fishing gear in a black Osprey backpack. Tools taken include a Fluke T6-1000 electrical tester, 2 sets of 1000 v insulated hand tools, a Klein volt proximity device, a headlamp, a Bosch digital measuring device and a blue tool bag.

CRIME: THEFT OF FUEL FROM CITY PARKS YARD

Thieves broke into the City of West Kelowna Park Operations yard located on the 3700 block of Elliott Road sometime over the week-end between August 17th and 20th. The thieves cut a hole in the fence at the back corner of the yard and gained entry to the shed with a crowbar. They managed to take approximately 200 liters of fuel contained in 10 and 20 liter jerry cans that were marked with “WK PARKS”.
