CRIME: THEFT OF TRUCK

On August 5, 2018 a Ford Ranger was dropped off for repairs at a mechanic shop on the 2500 block of Juliann Road and was stolen from the lot. The Ford Ranger was a 2008 with VIN # 1FTZR45E58PA10566 and red in color. The truck did not have a license plate when it was stolen as it was removed when the owner dropped it off for servicing. CRIME: CREDIT CARD THEFT

On August 13, 2018 between 4:00 pm and 5:00 PM a vehicle was broken into at Rotary Park at 3800 Gellatly Road. The vehicle looked unscathed and it was only the next day that the victims found out that their debit cards and MasterCard’s had been fraudulently used and that the cards in their wallets were replaced with stolen debit cards & MasterCard’s. Once they determined that their cards had been replaced they discovered minor damage to their passenger front door lock. The culprit was able to rack up transactions totaling $2513.67.
