CRIME:            THEFT OF ATV

DATE:              April 30, 2018

An Oyama property owner returned home on April 30th just before 4 p.m. to discover that an ATV had been stolen during the day.  The 2005 Arctic Cat had been parked in a gazebo in the yard of the lakefront home located on the 4500 block of Crawford Road.   The missing ATV is a green (Woodland Camo) 2005 Arctic Cat with BC plate 9B0655 and VIN 4UF05ATVX5TX5T208965 and had a yellow snow removal blade on the front. The key was not with the vehicle.  It appears that the ATV was dragged or towed from the location.

Be on the lookout for this 3 ton Kenworth truck that was stolen during the early hours of May 2nd, 2018 from the Interior Heavy Equipment Operator School located on the 10,000 block of Hwy 97 North.  Suspects broke into the property around 3:30 a.m. by cutting the lock from the front gate.  They then entered every office, locker and storage compound on the property; systematically ransacking and destroying approximately $50,000 worth of property.  The suspects took the Kenworth truck with them when they left, with neighbouring surveillance footage showing the truck and a grey SUV circling the area before departing.  The truck is a 2007 Kenworth 3 ton with expired BC licence plate number EE8595 and VIN 2NKMHZ8X57M931136.  It has the vehicle ID number ST002 and “Interior Heavy Equipment School” logo with phone number on the sides.
